Fun with Alcohol Ink

Experiment with alcohol-based inks. Different techniques will be explored for the morning portion of the class. During the afternoon we will work on a final piece to take home.

Dutch Pour

Fluid Acrylic

Students will learn to mix, pour and move their colours around with a hair dryer! 

This is not a make & take project. 
Allow a week for resin application before pick up.

Fluid Acrylic Blooms

Adult Intermediate level – fluid acrylic

Let’s go for a spin on a cake spinner! This fluid acrylic technique turns out beautiful floral results. A little more precise in the science than the dirty pour, this class is for those who have some experience with resin art. Much like the dirty pour, this piece needs a few days to dry. 

*Material and light snack provided.
** Two 8×8 epoxy resined finals included in cost. Small test pieces will be an extra charge if epoxy is desired.

Fluid Acrylic Swipe

Adult Beginner Level

Participants will learn how to swipe on either a 12”x 48” or a 20”x 24”board to create a neat “mirror image” design. Like the other fluid acrylic workshops this piece will take a few days to dry and Sue will apply the epoxy resin. Expect a week or two for pick up.
